LICENSED AND INSURED

Lancorp provides insurance documentation upon request. Lancorp holds Louisiana State Contractor License #20689. We would consider providing performance bonds up to $2 million dollars.

GBRIMA TRAINING AND TESTING

Many Lancorp employees hold current OSHA certified cards for GBRIMA. These Lancorp employees attend annual retraining classes for certification renewal (Greater Baton Rouge Industrial Managers Association, Safety and Occupational Health Council - Louisiana Capital Area).

SAFETY

All Lancorp employees complete an in-house HAZCOM (Hazardous Materials Communications Act) and safety training program at hire. Ongoing safety meetings are held to keep all employees abreast of current, applicable OSHA requirements as well as client-specific safety requirements. Lancorp employees are required to report any potential jobsite safety problems to Lancorp supervisors.

ENVIRONMENT

In the last decade, environmental concerns have caused many coating manufacturers to reformulate their paints to be more earth-friendly. These reformulated coatings can only help our environment if they are specified and properly applied. Lancorp has been one of the first contractors in this area to encourage the specification and application of the newly formulated coatings. Lancorp is vigilant in the recommendation and skilled in the application of the new "water-borne" and "low VOC" materials.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Management's training and experience includes the Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction, and continuing education through national conferences and programs and over ninety years of combined field experience.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Lancorp is a member of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. Lancorp supports the Boy Scouts of America as an annual Century sponsor. Lancorp supports the LSU Department of Construction Management through its active participation in their student organizations and sponsorship of the LANCORP COMMERCIAL PAINTING CONTRACTORS SCHOLARSHIP. Lancorp is a contributor and technical advisor to the Mid-City Redevelopment Alliance, Inc. and numerous other activities.

DRUG PROGRAM

Lancorp requires pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing of all employees. Lancorp's program may supplement client firm's drug policies (as allowed by current federal and state law).
